Saji works on many platforms as a disability expert. He vocalises loudly for the rights of differently-abled persons, and is involved with social and philosophical research in the field of visual impairment. He completed his study on “Finding the reciprocal attitudinal gaps between sighted and visually impaired employees,” which has immensely helped him understand the problems faced by both employees and employers at the workplace. He has developed Human Resource tools to narrow those gaps in the working environment.
He is also involved in a consultative capacity with organisations including the National Institute for the Visually Handicapped (India) and the Sharp Memorial School for the Blind (India). He has presented papers as a resource person at international conferences on the “Impact of ICT in the life of persons with blindness.”
Saji was selected for “Youth Meet 2005” held in Japan by the Japan International Cooperation Agency. He has been recognised with many awards for his luminous performance in life, including the “NIVH Excellence Award 2012” for an outstanding achiever in a career as a visually impaired person in India.
